Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish Flamenco/Pop artist. As a teen, Rosalia has delved into the dark side of both pop and traditional music. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as sweet and sharp, yet with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was made available in 2018, which has been a commercial and critical success. After Los Angeles, her debut album released in 2017, she got an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned the Latin Grammy nod. In 2021, the single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Her third long-player Motomami collaborated on songwriting with numerous producers and artists such as Cory Henry and James Blake. The release came in the month of March 2022, following an appearance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was first Spanish artist to perform as a solo performer on the show. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
